Welcome to THORVA Tile & Bathrooms. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website.

1. About TORVA Tile & Bathrooms

TORVA Tile & Bathrooms is a UK retailer specialising in high-quality wall and floor tiles, bathroom furniture, sanitaryware, baths, showers, taps, mirrors, radiators, accessories and related home improvement products.

Throughout these Terms & Conditions:

  • "We", "Us" and "Our" refer to TORVA Tile & Bathrooms.

  • "You" and "Your" refer to the customer placing an order.

2. Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the website fraudulently.

  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website.

  • Copy or reproduce website content without written permission.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where misuse is identified.

3. Product Information

We take every reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, specifications, prices and images are accurate.

However:

  • Product images are for illustrative purposes only.

  • Colours may vary due to monitor and device settings.

  • Product dimensions are approximate and subject to normal manufacturing tolerances.

  • Manufacturers may alter specifications, packaging or finishes without prior notice.

  • Lifestyle photography may include accessories that are not supplied unless specifically stated.

Customers should always read the full product description before ordering.

4. Tile Products

Tiles are manufactured in production batches and slight differences are an expected characteristic of the manufacturing process.

Natural variation may occur in:

  • Shade

  • Tone

  • Pattern

  • Surface texture

  • Edge finish

  • Size (calibre)

These variations are not faults and contribute to the authentic appearance of the product.

We recommend ordering all required tiles at the same time, together with an additional 10% to allow for cuts, breakages, wastage and future repairs.

Whilst we will make every effort to supply additional quantities from the same batch where available, this cannot be guaranteed.

5. Bathroom Products

Bathroom furniture, sanitaryware, brassware, shower enclosures, baths and accessories should be inspected immediately upon delivery and before installation.

Customers must ensure products are suitable for their intended application prior to installation.

Once installation has commenced, products are deemed accepted.

We cannot accept claims relating to visible cosmetic defects, finish issues or incorrect products once installation has taken place where those issues could reasonably have been identified beforehand.

All products should be installed by suitably qualified professionals in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

6. Placing an Order

All orders are subject to acceptance and stock availability.

After placing your order, you will receive an acknowledgement email confirming receipt of your order.

This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance.

A legally binding contract is formed only when your goods have been dispatched.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where:

  • Payment cannot be authorised.

  • Pricing errors have occurred.

  • Products become unavailable.

  • Fraudulent activity is suspected.

  • Incorrect product information has been relied upon due to an obvious website error.

If payment has already been taken, a full refund will be issued.

7. Prices

All prices shown on our website include VAT unless otherwise stated.

Delivery charges are calculated during checkout and displayed before payment is taken.

Prices may change without prior notice.

Should an obvious pricing error occur, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

8. Payment

Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched.

We accept the payment methods displayed during checkout.

Ownership of goods remains with TORVA Tile & Bathrooms until payment has been received in full.

9. Stock Availability

Although we make every effort to maintain accurate stock information, availability cannot always be guaranteed.

Where an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you to offer:

  • A revised delivery date

  • A suitable alternative

  • A full refund

10. Delivery

Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.

Delivery may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control including supplier delays, courier issues, adverse weather, traffic disruption or other unforeseen events.

Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery.

Additional delivery charges may apply where deliveries fail due to customer absence or incorrect information being supplied.

We strongly recommend that customers do not book installers, plumbers, tilers or other tradespeople until all goods have been delivered, inspected and confirmed to be in satisfactory condition.

TORVA Tile & Bathrooms accepts no liability for labour costs, installation costs, contractor fees or other consequential losses arising from delayed deliveries, damaged goods or replacement products.

11. Inspection of Goods

All goods must be inspected immediately upon delivery.

Customers should report:

  • Damaged products

  • Missing items

  • Incorrect products

  • Delivery shortages

within 48 hours of delivery.

Photographic evidence may be required to support any claim.

Products should not be installed until they have been fully inspected.

Installation confirms acceptance of the goods.

12. Risk and Ownership

Risk passes to the customer once goods have been successfully delivered.

Ownership remains with TORVA Tile & Bathrooms until payment has been received in full.

13. Returns and Order Cancellations

Consumers purchasing online have statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Where applicable, orders may be cancelled within 14 days of receiving the goods.

Returned goods must:

  • Be unused

  • Be uninstalled

  • Be complete

  • Be returned in their original packaging

  • Be in a condition suitable for resale

Certain products cannot be returned unless faulty, including:

  • Made-to-order products

  • Bespoke items

  • Personalised goods

  • Special-order products sourced specifically for the customer

Customers are responsible for return delivery costs unless the return is due to our error or the goods are faulty.

14. Faulty Goods

If you believe a product is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible.

We may request:

  • Photographs

  • Proof of purchase

  • Batch numbers

  • Installation details

Where a manufacturing fault is confirmed, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.

15. Manufacturer Warranties

Many products sold by TORVA Tile & Bathrooms are supplied with manufacturer warranties.

Warranty periods vary depending on the manufacturer and product.

Manufacturer warranties generally exclude:

  • Incorrect installation

  • Improper maintenance

  • Accidental damage

  • Misuse

  • Fair wear and tear

  • Limescale damage

  • Commercial use where the product is intended for domestic use only

Warranty claims are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.

16. Tile Installation

Before fixing any tiles, customers should carefully check:

  • Shade

  • Calibre

  • Finish

  • Quantity

  • Dimensions

  • Product suitability

Tiles should be mixed from multiple boxes during installation to create a natural blend.

No claims relating to appearance, shade or visible manufacturing defects can normally be accepted once tiles have been fixed.

17. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights you have under UK consumer law.

Subject to applicable law, TORVA Tile & Bathrooms shall not be liable for:

  • Labour costs

  • Installation costs

  • Contractor fees

  • Removal costs

  • Loss of earnings

  • Business interruption

  • Consequential loss

  • Indirect loss

Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods supplied.

18. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, product descriptions and branding, is the property of TORVA Tile & Bathrooms or its licensors.

No content may be copied, reproduced or distributed without our prior written consent.

19. Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

20. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations where caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather

  • Natural disasters

  • Fire

  • Flood

  • Industrial disputes

  • Supplier shortages

  • Transport disruption

  • Government restrictions

  • Pandemic or epidemic events

  • Failure of utility or communication services

21. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
